# Privacy Policy – Archive Master
**Last Updated**: July 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs the data collection, usage, and privacy practices for the **Archive Master** macOS application (the “Software” or “App”). The Software is owned by **Ashish Dungdung** (the “Owner”), operated under the brand name **DazeStack** (the “Brand”), and managed and licensed by **Ash Digital Services** (the “Operator” or “Manager”, a registered sole proprietorship business entity under GST). In this document, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer collectively to the Owner, Brand, and Operator.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and data security. Unlike traditional applications, Archive Master is designed with a **privacy-first, local-only architecture**. This policy outlines the specific details of how our App operates and why your data remains entirely under your control.
—
## 1. Core Privacy Philosophy
Archive Master operates under a “Privacy by Design” model. We believe that the best way to secure your data is to never collect it in the first place.
* All processing, archiving, compression, extraction, and file management functions occur **strictly on your local device**.
* The App does not connect to any external cloud service or server owned by us to process, transfer, or upload your files or personal information.
—
## 2. Information We Do Not Collect
Because Archive Master is a completely local utility, we do not collect, store, or transmit any user data. Specifically:
### 2.1 No Personal Data
We do not collect, request, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, phone number, device identifiers, or contact lists.
### 2.2 No File Tracking or Metadata
We do not monitor, track, log, or store the contents, filenames, file types, folder structures, or metadata of the files you compress, extract, or browse using the App or its Finder Sync Extension.
### 2.3 No Location or Usage Analytics
We do not track your geographical location, IP address, or general usage patterns. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Firebase) inside the App.
—
## 3. Local Processing and File Management
Any temporary files, cache, or operational logs generated during the compression or extraction process are stored entirely within the App’s sandboxed directory on your local machine.
### 3.1 Automation Features
When you enable features like **”Delete original files after compression”** or **”Delete archive after extraction”**, the deletion requests are sent directly to macOS local APIs (usually moving files to your local Trash). This process is executed entirely on your machine; no record of these operations is ever transmitted to us or any third party.

## 4. Diagnostics, Logs, and Crash Reporting
### 4.1 Local Diagnostics
Archive Master may generate local log files to assist in troubleshooting performance issues. These logs are stored in the App’s local application container and are never automatically transmitted to us. You may manually access or delete these logs at any time.
### 4.2 Standard Apple Crash Reports
If the App experiences a crash, macOS may prompt you or automatically share crash diagnostics with us via Apple’s App Store Connect portal.
* These crash logs are entirely anonymous and contain only technical system information (such as macOS version, stack traces, device model, and active memory allocation at the time of the crash).
* Sharing this data is governed by your macOS system settings and Apple’s Privacy Policy. We only use this information to resolve software bugs and improve app stability.
—
## 5. Security and macOS App Sandbox Compliance
Archive Master strictly adheres to Apple’s **App Sandbox** guidelines.
* The App operates within a restricted environment container that prevents it from accessing system resources or user directories without your explicit permission.
* The App only accesses files or directories that you specifically open, drop onto the interface, or authorize via macOS security dialogs.
* No network capabilities are requested or enabled for the application, ensuring that the app is structurally incapable of transmitting data off your device.
—
## 6. Global Privacy Regulations (GDPR, CCPA, and others)
Because Archive Master does not collect, store, transfer, process, or sell any personal data, our operations are fully aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other international data privacy regulations. You retain absolute ownership and control over your files at all times.
—
## 7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operational procedures or security standards. Any updates will be posted directly within the repository and App documentation, with the updated revision date clearly displayed at the top of this document.
